I have a Poweredge 6650 that has been running fine with three 72GB drives in a RAID-1 stripe set. Mean drive is offline, does not means the HDD is damaged but is no longer detected, however could be related to a physical component. Try run diagnostics, make sure it pass and just rebuild it if it fails or does not rebuild properly contact Dell to avoid data lost.
